Exalting Jesus Day and Night with Prayer and Worship

The Role of Revival and Outpouring in the Last Days

The end times are not only a time of shaking and judgment—they are also the setting for the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world has ever seen. Scripture points to a simultaneous increase in darkness and light, fear and faith, deception and truth. Amid global crisis, God is preparing a glorious Church, empowered by the Spirit and filled with boldness to proclaim the gospel.

Joel 2 is one of the most foundational passages for understanding this. In verse 28, God promises, “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.” This outpouring includes sons and daughters prophesying, old men dreaming dreams, and young men seeing visions. It’s a picture of a multi-generational, Spirit-filled movement of prayer, worship, and proclamation.
Peter quotes this passage in Acts 2, but it finds its ultimate fulfillment at the end of the age. The days leading to Jesus’ return will be marked by a global revival that reaches every tribe, tongue, and nation (Revelation 7:9–14). This end-time revival will not be without resistance—but it will be unstoppable.

Isaiah 60 paints the same picture: “Darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” This is not a contradiction—it’s a divine setup. In the face of growing opposition, the Church will shine with purity, power, and the love of Christ.

This outpouring will also awaken a prayer movement unlike anything we’ve seen. Malachi 1:11 declares that incense and pure offerings will rise to God’s name in every place. Revelation 5:8 and 8:3–4 show the prayers of the saints ascending like incense before the throne. This means the end-time Church will be a praying, worshiping people—a Bride made ready through intimacy and intercession.

At King’s House DFW, we are contending for this very outpouring. We believe the prayer room is central to preparing the way of the Lord. Every revival in history has been preceded by a prayer movement. And the final, global revival will be no different.

We invite you to pray, fast, and cry out for more of the Spirit—not only for personal refreshment, but to be empowered for the mission ahead. The harvest is ripe. The Spirit is moving. The time is now. Let’s align our hearts with heaven and prepare the way of the Lord.
