Exalting Jesus Day and Night with Prayer and Worship

Our Story: FAMILY ROOM REVIVAL

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

A Cry for More of God

The King's House began in 2006 as a simple yet powerful prayer gathering on Monday nights. Rui and Stacy Porfirio opened their home at 10 p.m. to anyone hungry for more of God, regardless of background. These late-night meetings often stretched into the early morning hours, filled with prayer, worship, and passionate exhortations from Rui about salvation, awakening, and revival. Many encountered the transforming power of God—experiencing salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit, and deep personal renewal in the Presence of the Lord.

GROWING FLAME

From Home Gatherings to a Furnace of Prayer

As hunger grew, Monday night gatherings expanded to include Friday nights, creating a rhythm of intercession and worship in the Porfirio home from August 2006 to June 2013. These nights became a place where people cried out for God to pour out His Spirit over their lives, the city, and the nation. In 2012, the Lord began speaking clearly to the Porfirios and a team of intercessors about expanding this home revival into something more—a regional furnace of worship and prayer that would burn day and night.

A RESTING PLACE

His Presence

In response to that call, a dedicated group of believers stepped into a shared vision: to build a resting place for God's Presence and offer Jesus unceasing adoration. United by a burning desire to see Him glorified, this fellowship of passionate hearts committed themselves to the dream of a house of prayer that never stops. As they give Jesus the reward of His suffering, their cry remains steadfast—“May the fire on our altar never burn out!”
